Creating a system & user centered design for the airport travelers
The challenge
Designing a system for the airport travellers to make their check-in process & navigation without a physical id card & boarding pass with a proper navigation of the airport layout to avoid time affairs which includes a real time flight status without looking at the information displays.
The solution
To develop a mobile application, named as Kites, helps the traveller have the required travel documents concurrently with a QR code scanning at different security points at airports for clearance. This travel card solves the problem of the phone charge getting drained out. This card’s data is also managed through the mobile application. This app lets the traveller track their current flight status providing them with in-app navigation showing layout of airports. Additionally, luggage size can be measured too.
